I am a visual artist, a jewelry maker and a published author educated in Amsterdam.
My sources of inspiration come mainly from nature and spirituality: beauty is my guidance.
I work in mixed media that I call wall assemblages with a technique called soft soldering. I would describe it as follows: ''a wall 'assemblage' is composed of materials from all corners of the world, of all epochs, and of all densities, fused together in a moment of time with agape (love) as binding force!''
I have exhibited and sold my work in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, the UK, the USA.
In 2002 I developed a way of applying fragments of antique Chinese and Japanese porcelain to my wall assemblages and in my jewelry. This brought my work to the larger museum shops in Amsterdam where it was sold for many years.
